Volunteers
Volunteers
Hello Jensen Ranch Families,
We look forward to having volunteers on our campus this school year. There will be opportunities to volunteer in classrooms, in the office, on field trips, and for special school and PTA events and activities. You will learn more about classroom opportunities at Back to School Night and through our Jensen Ranch PTA.
Classroom teachers and school staff will share volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
- Volunteer opportunities vary by classroom. Teachers determine when volunteers are needed, how many are needed, and the times and activities that best support their classroom. Volunteer opportunities may be adjusted or ended as needed.
- Volunteers are here to support school and PTA programs. Volunteering is not an opportunity to observe your child or other students during the school day.
- All volunteers must complete the Megan's Law Form with Volunteer Confidentiality Agreement.
- All volunteers must complete the 67-minute Keenan Safe Schools Mandated Reporter Training and provide the completion certificate to the school office. This certificate may be used for clearance at other CVUSD schools.
- You will receive an email once you are cleared to volunteer. Jensen Ranch staff, PTA Board members, and PTA Committee Chairs will have access to the cleared volunteer list.
- Volunteer clearance is completed separately at each school site. Jensen Ranch clearance is valid through September 30 of the following school year.
- All volunteers must check in and out of the office while on site for safety reasons.
