Jensen Jaguar Families!
Tomorrow is our first day of school! Here are a few reminders to start is off for a successful school year!
Gate 3 Closed - Use Gates 1 & 2
All students will enter through Gate 1 & 2 at least through August 17th. Due to ongoing construction, we are not yet able to accomodate use of Gate 3 to drop off and pick up students.
With Construction Comes Lots of Dust!
Due to ongoing construction, there is plenty of dust around the campus. I highly recommend not sending your children to school wearing light colored shorts, pants, dresses. Students will be seated on the ground at various times of the school day and the ground is dusty despite our efforts to get things cleaned up!
There are still a few projects that will not be completely finished when we begin the school tomorrow. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these final details and put the finishing touches on our campus.
Welcome to Our New Families & Staff!
We are so excited to welcome our students and families back to campus! This year, we are thrilled to welcome three new classes to Jensen Ranch: a TK–K Special Day Class, a K–2 Special Day Class, and our very first TK general education class! We also have many new staff members joining our Jensen Ranch team to support these amazing programs. We are so happy to have them as part of our Jaguar family!

Jensen teachers will be scheduling initial assessments for you child one day after school during the first two weeks of school. These initial assessments allow us to have a better understanding of the foundational skills and knowledge your child is the starting the school year with so that we can ensure our instruction targets their needs for a successful school year.
Home-School Communication
We value strong communication and collaboration between home and school and look forward to partnering with you throughout the school year. That said,
teachers will not typically have time during the first two weeks to hold individual parent meetings due initial assessments and preparations for the start of the school year. If you have a need or questions, please email your child's teacher and they will get back to you typically with 24-48 hours during school days.
Early Release Fridays
Every Friday, TK students will get out at 11:30 a.m. and students in K-5 will get out of school at Noon. Lunches are available and supervision will be in place for 20 minutes after the end of the school day.
